Appointment information

  • An up to date referral from your GP is needed for any medicare claims from Dr McMonagle

  • Please bring the following to your initial appointment:

    • A valid referral from your GP

    • Your Medicare Card

    • Private Health Insurance details

    • Relevant blood results, hearing test results, imaging scans & diagnostic investigations.

  • Payment is required on the day.

  • If you have a valid referral from your general practitioner and a Medicare card then you will be able to claim the Medicare rebate for part of the specialist consultation.

  • Private Health Funds do not cover the cost of the consultation, but medicare does cover some of this cost.

    Depending on your level of cover Private Health will contribute to the cost of surgery and hospital stay.

    If you’d like more information on costs and billing please call our rooms and our friendly team will provide the information relevant to your surgery or proceedure.

  • Dr McMonagle has specialist expertise in paediatric ENT conditions as well as adults.

    The waiting room includes toys and books to entertain his smaller sized patients.
